SMS Terms & Conditions

1- SMS Consent Communication:

The information (Phone Numbers) obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

2- Types of SMS Communications:

If you have consented to receive text messages from Boat Florida Rentals, you may receive messages related to the following:

  • appointment reminders, order confirmations, and Customer Inquiries

Example: "Hello, thanks for your inquiry about renting a boat from Boat Florida Rentals, when would you like to consider renting a boat? You can reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging from Boat Florida Rentals, at any time."

3- Message Frequency:
Message frequency may vary depending on the type of communication. For example, you may receive up to 10 SMS messages per week related to appointment reminders, order confirmations, and Customer Inquiries

4- Potential Fees for SMS Messaging:

Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier’s pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.

5- Opt-In Method:

You may opt-in to receive SMS messages from Boat Florida Rentals in the following ways

  • By submitting an online form

6- Opt-Out Method:

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, simply reply "STOP" to any SMS message you receive. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list.

7- Help:

If you are experiencing any issues, you can reply with the keyword HELP. Or, you can get help directly from us at https://boatfloridarentals.com/home/#contact

Additional Options:

  • If you do not wish to receive SMS messages, you can choose not to check the SMS consent box on our forms.

8- Standard Messaging Disclosures:

Effective Date: April 1, 2025

These Terms govern your use of our website and the rental of our boats and equipment.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid government-issued ID. A valid boating license is required under Florida law if any driver of the boat was born prior to Jan 1, 1988.

2. Reservations and Cancellations

  • A reservation is not confirmed until payment is received.

  • Cancellations must be made 48 hrs in advance for a full refund.

  • No-shows or late cancellations may result in forfeited fees.

3. Rental Agreement

Renters must sign the rental agreement, navigational rules and a Waiver and Release of Liability before departure. You are responsible for any damages caused during the rental period.

4. Rules of Use

  • Operating the vessel under the influence is strictly prohibited.

  • Life jackets must be worn or readily available on board.

  • You agree to return the boat on time and in good condition.

5. Limitation of Liability

Boat Florida Rentals is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or lost/stolen property. Renters assume all risks associated with boating.

6. Payment Terms

All payments are due in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit cards and online payments.

7. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
